Apricot Sub-Tropical Fruit Tree

This sub-tropical fruit tree is easy to grow in your own garden. 'Gold Rich' flowers in May, when the tree is completely smothered with pale pink blossom. 'Gold Rich' is not susceptible to disease and frost. Harvest in August.

Black Currant Bush

Nothing is tastier than freshly picked currants in summer. They are so healthy and nutritious. These low-maintenance plants have big fruits and are undemanding as to soil type, so they can be grown in any garden. Harvest in July.

Giant Blueberry Bush - Average height on delivery: 30-40cm

Early variety. These are surely the best of all berries and are favourites with gardeners and cooks alike. Pinkish-white flowers appear in April-May followed by berries in July-August. The berries are tasty and very nutritious and have medicinal properties. Plant in ericaceous compost. Not self fertile. Plant 2-3 bushes together.

This blackberry has two very appealing qualities. It produces giant blackberries and it has thorn-less branches. The fruits are delicious eaten straight from the cane, but also a choice fruit for making juice or your own tasty jam. The canes are thorn-less, so you won't get scratched when picking the fruit. It needs some support such as a trellis or netting. Rapid growth and hardy. Harvest August-September.
